We are already familiar with email SPAM. Just like email SPAM SMS is all about selling products, offering services to gain customers and it also involves fraud and cheating customers. ofcourse all these spam messages irritates us a lot and it is disgusting to keep on deleting them from inbox.

Accordingly SSM will filter the incoming messages. the safest filter will be the third one where only messages from your contacts will be allowed. the remaining three options are discussed below:-

this is effective when you want to block your friends no or any cellular operator no.
for eg:- 44678, to block this no. you just need to enter this no. into black list.

You can Block the Phone no. by entering prefix number.
this is effective when you want to block all the numbers from a particular group or company.
often we receive offers from cellular co. regarding for eg ringtones, astrology, jokes, etc
here the all these services might not have the same no.
for eg:- astrology may have 55301, ringtones- 55302, jokes- 55303.
Now to block all these offers you just need to enter prefix number 553 in to black list.

You can Block messages by entering matching text
this is effective when you want to block a particular service, for example if you want to block only ringtones service mentioned above, you just need to enter the matching text like “free ringtones”, “download ringtone” into black list.

Some keywords to block fraud sms messages:- lottery, you won, $$$, giveaway, sum of, claim your gift, etc.

Supports SPAM folder
